Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 17, 2025

Look, we get it - nobody actually enjoys reading privacy policies. But since we're asking you to trust us with your project details and personal info, we figured we owe you some transparency about what we do with it all.

When you reach out to us or work with us, we'll collect stuff like your name, email, phone number, and project address. Pretty standard.

We also grab:

  • Project specifications and design preferences you share with us
  • Communication records - emails, meeting notes, that kind of thing
  • Payment and billing information when we're actually working together
  • Site visit photos and property documentation
  • Technical data like your IP address and browser type when you visit our site

We're not in the business of collecting unnecessary data. If we're asking for something, it's because we actually need it to do our job properly.

Your info helps us design better spaces for you and keep everything running smoothly. Here's the breakdown:

  • Creating architectural designs and plans tailored to your needs
  • Communicating with you about project updates, timelines, and changes
  • Processing contracts and handling billing
  • Meeting legal and regulatory requirements (permits, building codes, all that fun stuff)
  • Improving our services based on project outcomes
  • Sending occasional updates about our studio - but only if you've said you're cool with it

We don't sell your data to third parties. That's not our game, and frankly, we think it's a bit sketchy when others do.

Sometimes we need to loop in other professionals to get your project done right. This might include:

  • Structural engineers, landscape architects, and other consultants we bring onto your project
  • Contractors and builders who'll be executing the design
  • Municipal authorities for permit applications and approvals
  • Our legal and accounting folks when necessary
  • Cloud service providers who host our project management systems

Everyone we work with signs confidentiality agreements. Your project details stay within the team that needs to know them.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you've got several rights when it comes to your personal information:

  • Access: You can ask us what info we have about you
  • Correction: If something's wrong, let us know and we'll fix it
  • Deletion: You can request we delete your data (though we might need to keep some stuff for legal reasons)
  • Objection: You can opt out of marketing communications anytime
  • Portability: You can get a copy of your data in a usable format

Just shoot us an email at studio@draxionthalquinth.info if you want to exercise any of these rights. We'll get back to you within 30 days.

We take security seriously, but let's be real - no system is 100% bulletproof. That said, here's what we do:

  • Encrypted data transmission (that little padlock in your browser bar)
  • Secure cloud storage with Canadian-based servers
  • Regular backups so nothing gets lost
  • Limited access - only team members who need your info can see it
  • Regular security audits and updates

We keep your data for as long as we're working together, plus seven years after project completion. Why seven? Canadian tax law requires it, and honestly, it's helpful for warranty issues that might pop up.

After that, we securely delete everything unless you've asked us to keep it longer.

Our website uses cookies - those little text files that help us understand how you're using the site. We use them to:

  • Remember your preferences between visits
  • Understand which pages people find useful (and which ones need work)
  • Make sure the site works properly on your device

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but heads up - some parts of the site might not work as smoothly.

We don't use invasive tracking or retargeting ads. If you see our work pop up somewhere else online, that's just good old-fashioned word of mouth doing its thing.

Privacy laws evolve, our practices improve, and sometimes we just realize we could've explained something better. When we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and let you know if it's a significant change.

For major updates, we'll send an email to current clients. For smaller tweaks, we'll just post the updated version here. Worth checking back occasionally if you're curious.

If something in this policy doesn't make sense, or if you've got concerns about how we're handling your information, just reach out. We'd rather clear things up than have you wondering.
